Using Tempus Fugit I (3 hours)

Audience: New Users. Learn the system from the ground up. If you've never used Tempus, this course is perfect for you

Summary

This course is designed to give a novice user a complete overview of the Tempus Fugit System. This course uses the "Learn by Doing" paradigm to ensure that as a part of your learning experience, you practice concepts and procedures covered in this course in a real life environment. Practice sessions consist of "real world" examples of running a temp staffer's desk

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of how to use Windows 95 or above.

Syllabus

  • Adding and editing records
  • Locating existing records
  • Assigning datacodes
  • Logging and displaying activities
  • Attaching documents to records
  • Recording applicant/candidate work experience
  • Assigning people to Job Orders
  • Closing people off of Job Orders and/or Closing Job Orders
  • Record relationships

Using Tempus Fugit II (2 hours)

Audience: Intermediate Users. You should already have a good working knowledge of adding and editing records, doing lookups and be able to utilize the basic system features.

Summary

This course is designed to take you to the next level of using Tempus Fugit. You will cover advanced searches using datacodes, key word searches using DocSearch, and combining search techniques for more focused searches.

Prerequisites

Using Tempus Fugit I or intermediate level experience with Tempus Fugit.

  • Using Job Orders to search for applicants
  • Matching applicants against open job orders
  • Free form datacode searches
  • Using and manipulating search lists
  • Saving search lists and using lists to automate tasks

Tempus Fugit Back Office (1 hour)

Audience: Users who need to track hours history from Tempus Fugit or send or reconcile it to a third party Accounting or Payroll program.

Summary

Enhance payroll and billing skills through this dynamic course designed to integrate efficient processes and procedures. Gain strategic and comprehensive understanding of the Back Office operating system.

Prerequisites

Using Tempus Fugit I or intermediate level experience with Tempus Fugit.

Tempus Fugit Management Reports (1 Hour)

Audience: Managers or supervisors who need to track the status of companies, people and job orders, or need to track user activities.

Summary

Learn to use the built-in reports to track reminders, activities, company status, people status or job order status. Payroll taxes and hours history reports are also available if you are using Back Office.

Using Tempus Fugit I or intermediate level experience with Tempus Fugit.

Tempus Fugit System Administration (1 Hour)

Audience: Users responsible for administering the Tempus Fugit system.

Summary

This course is designed for users who need to be able to add and delete user IDs on the system, and add or modify datacodes, activity types, and status types. This will also familiarize them with the Tempus Fugit user customizable administration settings and default activity types. They will also learn how to setup users for email broadcast capability, maintain indexes for DocSearch, and add and modify letter templates in the system.

Basic knowledge of how to use Windows 95 or above.

Audience: Users who need to train other staff on how to use Tempus Fugit.
